Hi there! I am the internal medicine specialist for a large and busy general practice group in Kansas City, Missouri. There, I help bridge the gap between GP and higher cost 24-hour or referral care. After the initial disappointment of not pursuing my dream to stay in academia I spent the first 7 years of my career in specialty private practice and consulting on another veterinary website. During this time I started developing my characteristic cost-conscientious and pragmatic approach to internal medicine. In 2020, I left practice for a while to pursue my true passion for education. During an amazing 3 years I filled-in as locum faculty at various teaching hospitals, acted as a key thought leader in industry, and lectured nationally about providing medicine services on the spectrum of care. āNow, I am thrilled to be back āpracticing what I preach!
