1. Membership & Access

VetHive is an educational community for veterinarians and veterinary technicians providing:

βœ” Courses, webinars, and learning resources
βœ” A professional network of veterinary peers

Members are responsible for ensuring their use complies with regional veterinary laws.

2. User-Generated Content & Discussions

VetHive facilitates peer-to-peer and specialist-led case discussions. However:

  • No veterinary-client-patient relationship (VCPR) is formed through discussions.
  • Members must not share confidential patient information.
  • VetHive is not responsible for content posted by users.

3. Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk

By using VetHive, you acknowledge and agree that:
βœ… VetHive provides educational resources, NOT veterinary consultations.
βœ… VetHive does not control or verify clinical advice given in discussions.
βœ… You are solely responsible for your clinical decisions and patient treatments.
βœ… VetHive, its owners, employees, and contributors are NOT liable for any clinical outcomes resulting from VetHive content.

4. Payment & Refund Policy

  • Membership auto-renews (monthly or annually).
  • No refunds are issued after payment processing.
  • Cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours before renewal to avoid charges.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All VetHive courses, discussions, and materials are copyrighted.
  • Members may not reproduce, share, or sell VetHive content without written permission.

6. Compliance & Security

  • VetHive is NOT HIPAA-compliant and should not store protected health information (PHI).
  • Members must follow AVMA teleconsulting guidelines, which allow veterinarians to consult with specialists within the scope of their VCPR.

7. No Guarantee of Results

VetHive provides educational resources, but we do not guarantee specific clinical outcomes or skills improvement. Your results depend on your own efforts, experience, and application of knowledge.

8. Indemnification Clause

You agree to indemnify and hold VetHive harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

βœ” Clinical decisions you make based on VetHive discussions or content.
βœ” Any misuse of the platform or violation of veterinary regulations.

9. Membership Termination

VetHive reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations including:

❌ Unauthorized sharing of proprietary content.
❌ Misrepresentation of credentials or qualifications.

10. Modifications & Amendments

VetHive reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

11. Dispute Resolution & Legal Jurisdiction

  • Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Columbia, TN.
  • This agreement is governed by the laws of Tennessee, USA.
